Summer Watermelon Lemonade and Fruit Slush

Summertime wedding planning? Looking for something to serve at your shower or wedding reception that is a little bit off the beaten track? Why not serve Watermelon Lemonade? The combination of colors and flavors brighten any wedding, and the added triangle of watermelon added to the edge of your glass adds that 'something extra' (so much better than a little paper umbrella!)

Add thin slices of lemon, orange and lime to a base of lemonade and limeade and then add some frozen chunks of watermelon for cooling and added watermelon flavor.  Add some diced watermelon and other fruit like apples, strawberries, or pears. Add a few ice cubes as well and you're good to go! The watermelon will breakdown the longer it sits in the lemonade turning  it into almost a slushy! YUM!
