Blue and Pink Wedding Bouquets

Love the colors in this brides bouquet. The blue and white Singapore Orchids and Pink Lilies give the bouquet a boost of color against the brides white gown. The colors give the wedding additional color and really pop in photos. For more photos check Queensland Brides.

Napkins and Flowers - High Society Combination

Wunderweib offers these great ideas for ways to add flowers to each place setting to give each setting a beautiful look. It's almost the same as adding a small vase at each place setting. Whether you use home grown tulips or your favorite orchids, the flowers add a wow factor to your table.

It is touches like these that take your table from pedestrian to looking like a designer had a hand in setting your table. I love the red tulip, but the orchids are my daughter's favorites.

Is There Such a Thing as Inexpensive Orchids?

Photo of Orchids from Whole Foods

If you want to use orchids in your wedding bouquet or even for your centerpieces, consider buying whole plants at Home Depot or Whole Foods. This will often save you quite a bit of money over ordering them by the stem. And this way you'll have the plants to enjoy as they bloom year after year.

And You Thought You Couldn't Afford Orchids?

If you thought orchids were out of your price range, consider these arrangements from MelroseFields.com®.  They're from the Scented Secrets series which not only provides you with lifelike silks flowers but you can choose a scent for them as well.  MelroseFields.com® also makes reed diffusers with silk flowers on them if you enjoy these for your home.
