Tuxedo Accents For Your Wedding

Photo of Tennessee Iced Water Served with Black and White Straws courtesy of Pizzazzerie

Tennessee Iced Water--sounds refreshing and perfect for your summer wedding doesn't it? If you are looking for the recipe head over to Pizzazerie where they'll give you the exact recipe for this cool drink that is sure to please your wedding guests. It's long, it's cool and it's garnished with a slice of cool lemon to top it off.

But you can also add some cute accessories. Consider using straws in stripes (see above) that you can find on Etsy and party stores, or if you want to put a little more effort into it, think about these cute straws complete with a tuxedo tie. (see below)

Don't you love these! The short black straw is topped with a grosgrain ribbon 'bow tie' to bring together the wedding's black and white theme.

Some DIY projects you just fall in love with! A little glue, a little ribbon and some black plastic straws will let you make these inexpensive black and white accents for you signature drink at your wedding.

So if you want to be the bride whose attention to details wows her guests, take the time to make these great straws. Also this bride had the recipe for her signature drink printed on her cocktail napkins so that guests could make the drink at home. All they had to do was grab an extra napkin for the recipe. Another great wedding idea that's easy to do but shows your attention to detail.

Are you the bride who loves these tiny details? If so, visit Pizzazzerie for the recipe for this drink as well as more information on the DIY projects.

Grace Kelly Would Be Proud!

Wearing a dress that is relatively plain and want to add something extra? Try this great pair of "Grace Kelly gloves" (or gloves of your choice) to add a little to your look. Love the lace on these! Delicate and dainty. Very ladylike. So even if you're usually a tomboy, a wedding is a great time to be your most lady-like and go with the lacey gloves!

Like the fingerless look? Try these... a little lace but long and sleek, and fingerless to show off your new bling!

Gloves or Guantlets?

Many brides wear gloves for their weddings, but an interesting option is to choose to wear guantlets.  Etsy artist, Crystal at Crystalsidyll at etsy.com (http://www.etsy.com/shop/Crystalsidyll) makes guantles for brides.  These guantlets are easier than gloves, leaving your fingers free for adding your ring during the ceremony and making it easier to eat at your reception.   No worries about staining your gloves.  Also guantlets are friendly to rounder figures since they are adjustable.  (For exact measurements see information at Crystals Idyll store at Etsy.com).  Crystal also offers other unique accents for your wedding day and can do custom work for you.

These black and white guantlets are perfect for a black and white theme wedding.  They are made from panne velvet and are perfect for your bridesmaids.  Matching white gauntlets in white panne velvet can be special ordered.
